This intensive, week-long professional development course is designed to strengthen leadership effectiveness and enhance supervisory capabilities across all levels of an organization. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, case studies, and interactive exercises, participants will explore modern leadership theories, ethical decision-making, change management, and communication strategies critical to today’s leaders.

Course Overview:
Monday – Developing Leadership Foundations
Participants examine fundamental leadership theories, study historical and modern leadership examples, and discuss the challenges faced by leaders in achieving effective results. The day concludes with an applied case study and guided discussion.
Tuesday – Ethical Leadership and Personnel Management
Focus on transparency, ethics, and the leader’s role in shaping organizational culture. Topics include servant leadership, maintaining integrity under pressure, and managing personnel through motivation, documentation, and fair discipline practices. Guest speakers may include HR professionals or mid-level commanders.
Wednesday – Communication, Motivation and Team Building
Explore strategies for effective communication across organizational levels, fostering engagement and morale, and building cohesive, high-performing teams. Participants practice techniques for feedback, collaboration, and trust-building.
Thursday – Decision-Making, Coaching, and Performance Management
Leaders examine decision-making models, ethical considerations, and the role of intuition and data in leadership choices. Sessions emphasize the leader’s role as a coach and mentor, setting performance expectations, and transforming evaluations into tools for professional growth.
Friday – Leadership in Action
The final day brings all concepts together through a complex case study and team-based presentations. Participants engage in an interactive panel discussion with experienced leaders who share insights, lessons learned, and practical applications of effective leadership.
