This Electric Vehicle Safety Foundations Series equips individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and succeed in a rapidly growing and evolving industry.
Module I: Electrical Safety Awareness
Online | 15 Hours | No Prerequisite
Learners may begin the online content at any time. All Module I coursework must be completed by April 22, 2026.
This course focuses on safety related issues involving EVs, Including different electric vehicle drive systems, high-voltage battery function and design, battery converter systems, and high-voltage battery accessory components. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a voucher to take the ASE xEV Electrical Safety Awareness Certification (Level 1) test.
Module II: Technical Electrical Safety
Online | 20 Hours | Prerequisite: Module I
Learners may begin the online content at any time. All Module II coursework must be completed by April 22, 2026.
Dedicated to the technician that will actively work on and service EVs, hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a voucher to take the ASE xEV Technician Electrical Safety Certification (Level 2) test.
Module III: Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Learning Lab
In-Person | 1 Week: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM | Prerequisite: Module II
Learners may select one of the following in-person lab weeks: April 27 – May 1, 2026 or May 4 – May 8, 2026.
Learn how to service, diagnose, and repair hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), and battery-electric vehicles (BEV). We will demonstrate and use high-voltage personal protective equipment (PPE) during all hands-on exercises.
Upon successful completion of all three modules, you will receive the Electric Vehicle Safety Foundations Certificate from CNM Ingenuity.

The Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) prep course is designed to equip individuals with essential skills for maintaining and repairing aircraft. This comprehensive training covers key areas of aviation mechanics, focusing on both airframe structures and powerplant systems.
Graduates of the course are positioned for rewarding careers in aviation maintenance, ensuring aircraft safety and performance.
FAA Form 8610-2, Airman Certificate and Rating Application, 30 months of hands-on aviation experience.
There are no upcoming Airframe and Powerplant Prep Courses scheduled at this time.
